The design phase of a kitchen remodel will require about 2-4 weeks depending on availability and scheduling.

Lead times for materials will vary based on final selections, ranging anywhere from 2 weeks for stock cabinetry to 12 weeks or more for handmade custom cabinetry.  Labor can be scheduled as soon as all materials have been confirmed for delivery to the job site.

Labor can take 2-6 weeks depending on the scope of work and size of your kitchen. 

Fees for design can be tricky to nail down and depend on the type of design services requested, scope of work, size of space, material budget and complexity of the existing conditions.  

TIP: Sometimes coming up with out of the box and creative ideas to suit a limited budget can take more design time than working with a larger budget. Understand that when working with a designer, at times, a smaller budget may mean a larger percentage spent on design fees.
